Rose of Sharon Children Home for Girls

The children at Rose of Sharon come from the lowest layer of the society and poorest regions of the country. Most of them are from native tribal communities. They were never used to schooling and initially exhibited strange tribal community behaviors. Now they are disciplined and have learned to adapt to cross-cultural situations and conventional lifestyles.

We Have Relocated!

Rose of Sharon had been working at a rented place in Chennai city with limited facilities that could take care of 20 children only. After several years of waiting for a new project, we could locate a piece of land near TADA (about 4 acres) in the Nellore district of Andhra Pradesh 75 km away from Chennai. In this four-acre land, we could establish a Girls' Home with enough space for 50 girls, a warden, and other caretakers, an office, and the facilities. This enables us to extend the services to the neediest children, touching and building more lives from broken and poor families.

Admission Open

We have a Licence from the government to enroll up to 50 girl children. The schools in Andhra Pradesh start on the 4th of July 2022. Please contact us for more details and to enroll the deserving girl children.
